If you aren’t excited about all the new strains that came out in 2019, we have to venture a guess that you haven’t been paying very close attention. It pays to come down out of the haze every so often to find out what new strains have flowered into prominence and maybe worth stuffing in your bowl. No worries, if you haven’t found the time, Dime Bags has kept their ear to the ground and put together a list of some of the most solid strains we’ve discovered throughout the year.

Berkel – Indica Hybrid

If you’ve been battling with insomnia caused by pain and fatigue, especially if it’s been accompanied by nausea, you may want to check out Berkel. It’s a smooth and relaxing toke bearing all the best qualities of its origin strains, Grand Daddy Purp and 98 Bubba Kush. In addition to taking the edge off some bad times, it also has the ability to uplift your spirits and leave you relaxed as the night sets in.

Durban Poison – Sativa

Don’t let the name of this amazing sativa strain throw you; the only thing this strain will kill is your depression and headaches. Users have reported that its an effective way of handling stress, fatigue, and pain, all of which have been known to cause both of the earlier mentioned concerns. It’s amazing for creative types, bringing joyous creative energy in a great-tasting smoke.

Tahoe Alien – Hybrid

Just like the children of alien abduction victims, this out-of-this-world strain is a hybrid that is great for those whose minds run just a little too fast. Like the other strains previous on this list, it’s a good strain for stress and headaches but has been showing great results in those who have been dealing with ADD. As the name suggests, its a blending of the Alien Kush and Tahoe OG Kush, and is just as delicious as either of these.

Golden Goat – Sativa

If you’ve ever dealt with social anxiety or live under a high-pressure life, this strain may be worth giving a shot. It has a tendency to get people talking and has been reported to provide a creative boost by loosening up the care and worry of its imbibers. This strain of herb is created by pollinating Mr. Dank’s Island Sweet Skunk with Hawaiian-Romulan and is nothing but a pure citrus pleasure to smoke.

Out of all the new strains that have come out over 2019, these four strains have stood out from the rest thanks to their great flavor and uplifting effects. Consistency and availability also played into their selection, as a strain that you can’t get your hands on is worse than one that just doesn’t work. If you have any other strains that you think should have made it on this list, let us know! We’re always happy to hear from our extended Dime Bag family and find out what you’ve discovered in your ganja travels, especially as the new year is upon us.
