Wisconsin is home to over 15,000 lakes. Move over, Switzerland – because it’s also the Swiss cheese capitol of the entire world. Its oldest city, Green Bay, was founded in 1634. It’s home to 13 world championships and, more importantly, our Shop of the Month: Tundra Smoke Shop.
Tundra Smoke Shop opened in Green Bay in 2016, where it immediately became a local favorite. It’s family owned, and run by people with over 10 years in the industry – it’s not hard to tell that Tundra knows their stuff. From their low prices to a huge selection and a positive atmosphere to top it off, Tundra Smoke Shop is the go-to destination for any and all your smoking needs.
Specializing in not only glass products, Tundra also has an extensive selection of e-cigarettes and vapes, e-liquid, premium cigars housed in a temperature controlled walk-in humidor, and pretty much everything in between. Open 7 days a week, Tundra Smoke Shop is located a couple miles south of Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers!
Tundra Smoke Shop focuses on putting the customer first. They guarantee the lowest prices in Green Bay and will even let you sample vape flavors before you buy! Stop in during one of their four customer appreciation days a year for pizza, desserts, sales, and more.
One of the great things about Dime Bags is that our products are great for so much besides transporting your stash. They make great gym bags, wallets, camera bags, camping gear, and more. But let’s talk legalities for a second here, as cannabis legalization in Wisconsin is starting to heat up.
Currently, weed in Wisconsin is illegal with the exception of CBD for extremely limited medical use. But during the midterm elections in November, Wisconsin citizens voted “yes” to a number of questions about both medical and adult use legalization statewide. Some approved only medical prescriptions, while others supported all-out legalization, and support sometimes reached rates of 75% approval (or a 4-1 voting ratio). Don’t get too excited, though – nobody expects this to happen anytime soon.
Citizens voted on referendums rather than new laws, so nothing has really changed. Instead they acted to show state legislators where Wisconsin stood on the issue of legalization. Though polls clearly showed strong support, legislators “don’t believe the support is there.”
State lawmakers, especially Wisconsin Senate President Roger Roth, don’t think there’s enough medical evidence to support legalization. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the irony, though, because if weed were to be made legal, it would be WAY easier to actually study it and discover more medical evidence. Lawmakers fear that allowing doctors to prescribe it for people with real medical needs would open doors to recreational legalization.
Until it’s legal, enjoy the area safely by grabbing one of our Dime Bags at Tundra Smoke Shop.
